Scandinavian Promo Producer (full time)
The Promo Producer will be
responsible for cutting trailers (across all genres), producing service
information spots and using interstitial elements in creating multiple edits of
barkers for our NVoD (Near Video on Demand) and eventually VoD (Video on Demand)
services across Scandinavian speaking markets. He/she will also be responsible
for developing the creative output, directing occasional producers as required,
in assisting with special production projects (such as sales tapes and show
reels).
Specifically the producer will create on-screen promotions and
organize program material and trailers for a weekly 15 minute info channel for
each Scandinavian speaking service to promote the arrivo services and
programming (both family features and adult content).
Tasks and
Responsibilities
Write scripts for promo's and info spots and
commercials for the Norwegian and Swedish TV market
Supervise edit
sessions, graphics, voice-over and audio mixing sessions
To be proactive
within the on-air marketing team, strategizing monthly buy rate campaigns and
assist within the development of the arrivo on-screen image in conjunction with
the local (affiliate) marketing campaigns and understand the nuances of the
language and market place
To assist with the building and development of
existing systems and the creation of new within the on-air department's
operations team
To assist with the development and growth of arrivo on
demand as a company producing barkers (Info channels) for launches within new
territories and for new systems
To produce sales and marketing

communication skills, must be a good team player with a personality that will
rise to the challenge of assisting in the building of a strong Pan-European
service and brand
Native Swedish or Norwegian
Qualifications
& Experience
Proven track record of at least 3-4 years of
experience in promotions production within broadcast on-air environment is
expected from within the Scandinavian TV market
Fluent Swedish or Norwegian
written and spoken communication skills
Understanding and knowledge of AVID
Understanding of broadcast scheduling systems
In depth knowledge and
understanding of advancing technologies with the European Digital TV marketplace
an advantage but not essential.
