The Indexer reviews articles sent to editorial due to insufficient coding applied through automation Tools and maintains the company codes database. The position reports to the Coding Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Process content sent to Editorial for manual review in a timely and accurate manner. The indexer will review articles to make sure they are indexed accurately with Subject, Region, Company and Industry codes were appropriate. This review process must be carried out without compromising the online time target for each individual source and according to the quality standards lined out in the Quality Chart. • The Indexer is also responsible for the maintenance of Factiva's Company codes Database. With access to hundreds of Business articles per day the indexer carry the responsibility for the accuracy of the database. The maintenance of the database involves amending company codes in the event of a corporate change and creating a company code whenever a company, or one of its subsidiaries, is the main subject of an article but a code has not yet been made up. • Web Content. In addition to licensed content Factiva crawls free web content and makes it searchable trough the products. It's the Indexer's responsibility to search for and crawl websites of interest to Factiva's business. • The Indexer also employs a basic Rules Based automation tool to improve quality and increase the volume of autocoded content.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
• Multitasking abilities. • Fluent in Finnish, reading in the other Scandinavian languages is essential. • Working knowledge of Windows and the Internet, including browser software. • BA or equivalent work experience

You will utilise your language skills and be part of an international team that Supports users and clients by email and telephone. You will work in a busy helpodesk environment within a large multinational company.
You will work in a Customer Support role, providing advice and guidance for all non-technical queries recieved by end-users and clients. Full training and career development is offered within this role.
